[01] Greek-Sino tourism dev'p
Greek Tourism Minister Aris Spiliotopoulos met here on Sunday with his
Chinese counterpart Shao Qi Wei, where he called for an accelerated
process of cooperation between Greece and China in the tourism
sector.
Spiliotopoulos stressed that there is a possibility for both two sides
to quickly establish a joint committee that will bring rapid results
for Greek-Chinese cooperation.
Taking advantage of the fact that Greece is the honored country -- for
tourism -- in 2008 and that Beijing will host the upcoming Olympic
Games, Spiliotopoulos and the chairman of the China National Tourism
Administration exchanged observations and examined all possible angles
of such cooperation.
