[01] US Rep. Titus represents Obama at museum opening
Tourism Development Minister Costas Markopoulos on Saturday met with US
Congresswoman Dina Titus, US President Barack Obama's representative at
the inauguration ceremony for the New Acropolis Museum.
Titus, a Democrat who represents Nevada's 3rd Congressional district,
discussed tourism-related issues with the Greek minister as well as the
issue of Greece being included on the US visa waiver program.
The Nevada legislator, who is of partial Greek descent, later met with
Cyprus President Demetris Christofias.
