[01] Papandreou's brief meeting with Fyrom's president Ivanov
Prime Minister George Papandreou on Thursday had a brief meeting with
fYRoM president Georgi Ivanov following the latter's request in
Copenhagen.
According to an announcement by Ivanov's office, the Fyrom president
welcomed the dialogue between the two countries, which as he said, may
contribute to establish trust and will further enhance the
understanding between the two countries.
At the meeting, Ivanov said that the "name issue" is remnant of past
time and what he called past "prejudices", without further expanding.
