[01] Falling tree injures 20 during feast in church courtyard
ANA-MPA/Twenty people were injured late Sunday evening in the coastal
town of Kiato, west of Athens, when a nearly three and a half-metre
pine tree fell into a church courtyard, where an ongoing dinner was
underway to celebrate a same-day religious holiday.
Three people, including two teenage girls, were more seriously injured
and transferred to an Athens hospital, while 16 people ended up at the
nearby Corinth hospital.
