    Equity prices were declining at the opening of trade on Wednesday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index down 0.09 percent, standing at 1,676.54 points at 11:00 am, and turnover at 8.512 million euros.

    The biggest gains were in Health up 1.43 percent; and Oil, up 1.09 percent.

    The biggest losses were in Media, down 2.47 percent; and Financial Services, down 0.68 percent.

    The FTSE/ASE 20 index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks was down 0.31 percent, the FTSE/ASE MID 40 index was down 0.05 percent, and the FTSE/ASE-80 small cap index was down 0.10 percent.

    Of the stocks traded, 25 were up, 30 were down, and 12 were unchanged.
