[01] Council of State suspends opening of shops in Athens on Sunday
ÁNA-MPA/Shops will remain closed on Sunday, 12 December, according to a
provisional ruling by the President of the fourth department of the
Council of State Sotiris Rizos on Friday.ana-mpa
Rizos accepted a petition by the Federation of Attica prefecture
Merchants, the Athens Shop Employees' Association and the Hellenic
Federation of Private Employees demanding the suspension of a decision
by the Athens Prefectural Council allowing shops open, by exception, on
Sunday to facilitate consumers ahead of Christmas.
