    ISTANBUL (ANA-MPA / A. Kourkoulas) - Turkey's main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Kemal KılıçdaroÄlu will take part at the Socialist International's (SI) session in Athens this week.

    CHP sources said KılıçdaroÄlu will be received by Greek Prime Minister and SI President George Papandreou. The Turkish politician will be also travel to Thessaloniki for a visit to residence where Mustafa Kemal Ataturk was born. (ÁÍÁ-ÌPA)

    [02] Stocks end flat on Mon.

    Stocks ended flat at the Athens Stock Exchange on Monday with investors sidelined ahead of a crucial vote in Parliament on a Mid-term Fiscal Strategy Programme.

    The composite index of the market eased 0.52 pct to end at 1,226.22 points, off the dayâs lows of 1,215.6 points. Turnover remained a disappointing low 56.700 million euros. The Big Cap index rose 0.06 pct, the Mid Cap index fell 2.69 pct and the Small Cap index ended 1.02 pct lower. Alpha Bank (2.18 pct), National Bank (1.75 pct) and Eurobank (1.32 pct) were top gainers among blue chip stocks, while OPAP (2.80 pct), PPC (2.35 pct) and Hellenic Postbank (1.89 pct) were top losers.

    The Telecoms (1.16 pct) and Banks (1.0 pct) sectors scored gains, while Health (6.36 pct), Commerce (3.68 pct) and Utilities (2.37 pct) suffered the heaviest percentage losses of the day. Broadly, decliners led advancers by 95 to 45 with another 40 issues unchanged. Allatini Ceramics (14.29 pct), Sprider (10 pct) and Lambrakis Press (8.70 pct) were top gainers, while Eurobrokers (20 pct), Pegasus (20 pct) and AXON Holdings (18.37 pct) were top losers.
