[01] Central gov't cash balance shows 865-mln-euro surplus in Jan.
AMNA / Greece’s central government cash balance showed a surplus of
865 million euro in January, compared with a surplus of 352 million
euro in 2011, the Bank of Greece said on Thursday.
The central bank, in a report, said that during the first month of 2012,
ordinary budget revenue increased to 5.077 billion euro, from 4.961
billion euro in January 2011.
Ordinary budget expenditure decreased to 4.121 billion euro from 4.240
billion euro in January 2011, the central bank said.
