[01] Foreign nationals involved in 47.49 pct of robberies
AMNA--Public Order Minister Nikos Dendias on Tuesday tabled in parliament
a Greek Police (ELAS) report on criminal activity throughout Greece in
the first seven months of 2012.
According to ELAS, foreign nationals were involved in 47.49 percent
of the robberies, down from the corresponding period in 2011 which was
54.39 percent.amna
The data was submitted to parliament following a question tabled by
ultra-right Chryssi Avghi (Golden Dawn) deputy Ioannis Lagos on the
skyrocketing crime in cities of the periphery.
