[01] Multinational companies boost investments in Greece
AMNA - Multinational companies are beginning to see the Greek market
with a more positive view as after Hewlett-Packard and Unilever, three
US-based companies are seeking to strengthen their presence in the
domestic market, either through a capital boost of their subsidiaries
in Greece or through setting-up new enterprises in the country, Yiannos
Grammatidis, president of the American-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce
said on Friday.

Thessaloniki, Grammatidis said that a "steady continuation of reforms has
sent a clear message to the international community that Greece tries
to change its course and to re-establish itself as an equal partner in
the market".

to boost the capital of their subsidiaries in Greece, while another was
preparing to set-up a subsidiary in the country.

Roman";color:#0F1419; He reminded that most of the recommendations made
by the American-Hellenic Chamber on reforming the tax system have been
adopted by the Greek government and stressed that Greeks were obliged
and determined to complete a big reform, violent but necessary for the
country's future. Grammatidis noted that reforms particularly in the tax
system will better prepare the country for a promoted Economic Governance
in the Eurozone.
