[01] Athenians to welcome 2014 under the Acropolis
The municipality of Athens has organised a series of festive events
for New Year's Eve that will peak with the main event held under the
Acropolis hill.
Athens will welcome the new year with fireworks to the music of the
Municipality of Athens Symphonic Orchestra that will play the New Year's
carols. Noted Greek singers and musicians will come on stage and will
entertain the Athenians until the early hours of the New Year's Day.
