[01] Greek modern art featuring crisis inaugurated at BOZAR in Brussels
ANA-MPA -- The humanitarian and social dimensions of the economic crisis
will be at the centre of the modern art exhibition "No Country for Young
Men: Contemporary Greek Art in Times of Crisis" that opens to the public
at the Palais des Beaux-Arts (BOZAR Centre for Fine Arts) in Brussels
on March 27 with the support of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
The exhibition is part of a series of events organized by BOZAR in
Brussels, in the context of the Greek EU Presidency.
Curated by art historian Katerina Gregou, the exhibition focuses on the
dramatic changes that have occurred both in Greece and across Europe as
a result of the economic crisis, internationally showcasing the creations
of 32 contemporary Greek artists and art groups.
The exhibition will be hosted at BOZAR until August 3 and admission will
be free.
