Tsipras presenting his programme for the first 100 days after being elected said that the new parliament will cancel the memorandums and announced immediate measures of social solidarity as the restoration of the minimum wage and pension to the before the memorandum limits "We do not come to manage Greece subordination, we are coming to abolish it" he said.

The main opposition leader clarified that he will not support the continuation of the memorandum regime "we will not yield to coercion and terrorist dilemmas and to sign leonine agreements and memorandums of devastation and enslavement of the Greek people in the name of their supposedly salvation.

Referring to the Presidential election, Tsipras noted "The people had decided in the euroelections. They condemned the government. Election of 'a freezed President' means continuation and completion of the disaster" he said and called for election in order the new parliament that to harmonise politically and morally with the electorate.

He clarified that SYRIZA will not propose someone for President because "cohesion over the name of the President should and must be formed after they people have expressed themselves".

Finally, he made an overture to those that have opposed to the memorandum to rally with SYRIZA.
