ANA/MPA---The date of troika's return to Athens still remains open after the conclusion of the four-hour teleconference between Finance ministry officials and the heads of the troika on Thursday evening.

According to a Finance ministry's top official, "the troika insists on its position over the allegedly fiscal gap (2.6-3.6 billion euros). The same source said that "we are right as we were in the previous years too."

The government claims that there is no fiscal gap for 2015 and based on this estimate it tables the final state budget in parliament on Friday.

Asked on whether we have a certain date for the troika's return to Athens, he replied "we don't have a date yet....the negotiations continue."

The same official also said that a wide range of issues were discussed at the teleconference and that "we agreed on many of them" adding that the Eurogroup meeting on December 8 is a landmark for the Greek government. He also underlined that the possibility the existing memorandum to be extended was not touched at the teleconference. "It is our priority to conclude the current evaluation in order to move forward".

The teleconference, in which Finance Minister Gikas Hardouvelis, Alternate Finance Minister Christos Staikouras, Deputy Finance Minister Giorgos Mavraganis and Prime Minister Antonis Samaras' associates Stavros Papastavrou and Chrysanthos Lazaridis participated, started at 11:00 pm on Thursday and was concluded at 03.00 am on Friday.
