    ANA/MPA---Independent Greeks (ANEL) parliamentary group meeting was concluded earlier on Tuesday.

    The issues of the party's organisation and the agreement with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras dominated the meeting.

    According to sources, ANEL leader Panos Kammenos will assume the Defence minister's post, while MPs Terens Quick, Nikos Nikolopoulos, Elena Kountoura and Maria Kolia will be appointed deputy ministers.

    Kammenos will hold a press conference, at 13.00, at the party's offices. He is also expected to announce the appointment of Marina Chrysoveloni as party spokeswoman.

    [02] Europarliament President Schulz expected in Athens on Thursday

    ANA/MPA---European Parliament President Martin Schulz is expected in Athens on Thursday, for a meeting with new Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, SYRIZA announced on Monday.

    Schulz will be the first foreign official to visit Athens after the installation of Tsipras as head of government.

    According to party sources, the meeting is scheduled for 15.00 and will focus on the new government's negotiations with Greece's creditors, which Schulz will then convey to Berlin.
