Moscovici said that he does not want to discuss with Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras "where he wants to go" but "how he wants to meet his target" adding that along with Tsipras "we will deal with the debt issue in a clear way." Asked on the possibility of a partial debt write-off, the European Commissioner said that it is premature to make such a discussion as the negotiation has not yet started. "We expect the Greek government to express its will, to tell us how they will respect the country's commitments, and to present their clear decisions. We congratulate Mr. Tsipras and his ministers. Together, we are going to face challenges with common goals," he concluded.
