The leaders of the member states that will participate in the
extraordinary EU Summit on migration to be held on Thursday in Brussels
will consider launching a military operation against human traffickers,
a draft statement showed.
In the draft statement seen by AFP, leaders will commit to "undertake
systematic efforts to identify, capture and destroy vessels before they
are used by traffickers."
Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is expected to present the Greek
proposals on migration policy and the crisis.
