New Democracy will support an agreement that meets even the minimum
criteria, party parliamentary spokesman Kyriakos Mitsotakis said in an
interview with 'Agora' newspaper on Saturday.
"Any agreement is better that no agreement," Mitsotakis stated, adding
that the adoption of an agreement with the partners "is a matter of
national responsibility now."
Moreover, he expressed his concern over the situation within the
party. "New Democracy has not made the criticism I would like to (...) New
Democracy has to change its foundations to be able to connect to the
powerful layers of the Greek society that have turned their back on it,"
he added.
