[01] Greece dominates the eurozone summitEurozone member states on Tuesday are waiting for the Greek proposals in order to discuss a new aid programme for Greece.A Eurogroup meeting has been scheduled for 14:00 (Athens time) and an emergency eurozone summit for 19:00. Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras is heading to Brussels to participate in the summit. "The Eurogroup is waiting clear reform proposals from the Greek side, in the framework of the ESM, and taking into account the country's new financial situation," according to eurozone sources. In the eurozone summit, that will also be attended by ECB president Mario Draghi and Eurogroup chief Jeroen Dijsselbloem, officials will discuss the actions to be taken after the referendum. German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande in a joint press conference on Monday left open the door for negotiations, urging the Greek government to promptly submit "serious" and "specific" proposals in order to reach an agreement. He said Washington looks forward to Athens and other parties resuming conversations toward resolving the Greek situation, a Treasury spokeswoman said.Lew voiced hope such an outcome "will allow Greece to make difficult but necessary fiscal and structural reforms, return to growth, and achieve debt sustainability within the euro zone," the Treasury statement said, according to Reuters. France, he said, "is convinced" that we cannot "take the risk of a Greek exit from the eurozone for both economic, undoubtedly, reasons ... but mainly for political reasons." [04] Japan Econ Min Amari calls on Greece, EU to agree win-win situationANA/MPA---Japan's Economics Minister Akira Amari said Greece and the European Union should work hard to strike a win-win deal that would keep Greece in the eurozone, according to Reuters news agency."Greece and the EU should also take steps to limit the economic impact from the turmoil which has jolted financial markets," Amari said. The minister spoke after Greek voters' rejection of austerity measures. "Greece has already done a lot to restore fiscal discipline, such as cutting pensions and wages," Amari told reporters. "I understand why the Greek people are venting their frustration. Fiscal consolidation is not making progress. They are in deflation.
