[01] Minister of State: Nihilism does not help anyone
ANA/MPA---Minister of State Nikos Pappas rejects all scenarios on a
government of national unity and accused SYRIZA MPs of their stance
over the agreement with Greece's lenders, in an interview to Efimerida
ton Syntakton.
"Nihilism does not help anyone nor those who use it" underlined Pappas
adding that "the debt will not be reduced whatever you call it. It lessens
when you insist and you succeed to bring it about as it has happened now."
Referring to national unity government scenarios, he said "those who
dream of solution scenarios behind the people's back let them do it
by themselves."
[02] Agreement for sale of regional airports to Fraport-Slentel finalized
ANA/MPA---The agreement for the sale of 14 regional airports to
Fraport-Slentel joint venture for 12.3 billion euros was published on
Tuesday at the government gazette.
It is the first privatisation implemented under the SYRIZA government
and is part of the memorandum ratified by the parliament on August 14.
These are the airports of Thessaloniki, Corfu, Chania, Kefalonia,
Zakynthos, Aktion, Kavala, Rhodes, Kos, Samos, Mytilene, Mykonos,
Santorini and Skiathos.
