"I depend very much on the fact that the MPs will give battle in their constituencies and that they will discipline and will have a single political word because it is the hour of battle and in battle we must have discipline" said Meimarakis adding that the party has a programme and a governing proposal that will unveil it at Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF).

He also said that the MPs are again in the frontline of the fight and will be again included in the party's ballot tickets.

In order for the country to change, he added, a broad alliance that will represent 51 pct of the society is necessary.

Asked if he would cooperate with SYRIZA after the elections, he said "when I got into politics I decided that I am eager to cooperate with the devil if this is good for the country" and called prime minister Alexis Tsipras' positions on cooperation "hubris".

Theodorakis referred to Potami's key contribution in the negotiations for an agreement and accused SYRIZA and Tsipras of ingratitude because as he said, Tsipras asked for his support and then 'accused him'. "We supported the new agreement regardless of our own interest. Our contribution was decisive

Kammenos said that ANEL had lots of disagreements with SYRIZA in several issues but they "tried everything."

"Now that the country has been burnt, there is no reason to shout fire-fire," said Kammenos adding that "We cried fire when that fire broke out" underlining that everyone must work hard to bring hope back."

He recognised that the upcoming elections campaign will be very short and as he said this is "good" because the country can't afford an extended campaign. "It is time all Greeks got together and moved to the next day" adding that this is what the outgoing government seeks.

Referring to his appointment at the Defence Ministry, Kammenos said it was a great honour and expressed his wish to continue his work from the same post and after the elections.

[04] ANA-MPA radio to premiere on August 31

The radio will have the full support of ANA-MPA, the national news agency of Greece, with 250 professional journalists from Greece and abroad. The agency celebrates its 110th anniversary this year and it is Greece's main information source as 90 percent of its news is disseminated on the internet.

Noted artist Yiannis Markopoulos is the composer of the theme music of ANA-MPA radio.

Initially, the radio will cover the city of Thessaloniki and the area of Central Macedonia.

At an event held on Wednesday in Thessaloniki, ANA-MPA president and general director Michalis Psilos said: "We want to create a radio of nationwide coverage based in Thessaloniki to tell the news 'as it is'".
