[01] PM Tsipras to have phone contacts with political leaders
Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras on Friday will have a series of phone
contacts with the political party leaders in the context of his political
initiative to ask the convention of the Political Party Leaders Council
to discuss the refugees issue, the developments in the wider region
and the reforms in the social security sector.
[02] Energy minister, Commissioner Cañete discuss TAP, IGB pipelines
Developments in the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) and the Gas
Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB Pipeline) were discussed in a
meeting between Environment and Energy Minister Panos Skourletis and
Climate Action & Energy Commissioner Miguel Arias Cañete in Brussels
on Thursday.
The two officials also discussed Greece's request to adjust the projected
CO2 emission rights limits for power generation, as an additional measure
to tackle the humanitarian crisis in the country.
