[01] The government has not asked for consent without debate, spokeswoman
Gerovassili says
The government has not asked for consent without a debate, government
spokeswoman Olga Gerovassili said on Monday in an interview with
Praktorio 104.9 FM.
She noted that the government has never declined its responsibilities
and explained that the government's initiative was simply an "invitation
to dialogue" on serious problems such as the refugee and pension issues.
"The opposition parties decided to destroy the discussion in advance
and came to the political leaders' meeting on Saturday only because they
had to and not because wanted to discuss," Gerovassili underlined.
She also noted that the government has managed to cut main pensions less
than originally planned.
[02] Hackers tried to intrude into Greek banks' web banking system
Hackers made attempts to intrude into the internet banking systems of
three Greek banks last Thursday, according to the Bank of Greece (BoG).
The National Intelligence Service, the Cyber Crime Squad of Greece and the
Bank of Greece are still in constant communication and hold consecutive
meetings in order to deal with the matter.
According to the same sources, hackers have asked for ransom in
bitcoin. The cyber attack, as they said, lasted for 45 minutes.
