[01] Greece aims at an agreement at Eurogroup; discussion on debt
The critical Eurogroup meeting with the participation of Finance Minister
Euclid Tsakalotos will start on Monday, at 3 pm.
A Euro Working Group meeting with the participation of Alternate Finance
Minister George Chouliarakis will precede.
According to Finance Ministry's officials, an in principle agreement on
the key points of the negotiations (new privatisations fund, bad loans,
pension and tax reforms) has been achieved.
The same sources said that the Greek proposal on the automatic correction
mechanism has already been sent to the institutions.
Moreover, a discussion on the debt, based on July's agreement, will be
held for the first time at the Eurogroup.
