[01] President Pavlopoulos welcomes AHEPA delegation to Athens
President Prokopis Pavlopoulos said Greece is determined to continue its
path in the European Union and the Eurozone, with economic development
and by tackling the refugee issue, as he welcomed a delegation of the
American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) in Athens.
Recalling a meeting with the delegation last year, Pavlopoulos said
he had assured the then that Greece would proceed in a determined way
within the Eurozone which is its "natural place".
"This target has been achieved with great sacrifices for the Greek
people. But it has been achieved and we can see Greece's future with
more optimism. Of course, we must never overreact because the effort is
still great, but the main target has been achieved," he said.
