[01] High-level meeting between Greece and its creditors starts in
Brussels
BRUSSELS (ANA/C. Vasilaki) – A crucial high-level meeting between
Greece and its creditors got underway in Brussels on Friday, in an
effort to break the deadlock in the negotiations for the country's
second program review.
Greece is represented by Finance Minister Euclid Tsakalotos and Alternate
Finance Minister George Chouliarakis, while the other side will be
represented by Eurogroup President Jeroen Dijsselbloem, EuroWorking Group
President Thomas Wieser, the Director-General for Economic and Financial
Affairs at the European Commission Marco Buti, the European Commission's
mission chief to Greece Declan Costello, the head of the ESM Klaus
Regling, the member of the Executive Board of the European Central Bank
(ECB) Benoit Coeure, the IMF's European department chief Poul Thomsen
and the fund's representative in the quartet, Delia Velculescu.
