[01] Vassiliki Millousi wins silver medal at Artistic Gymnastics World
Cup in Baku
Vassiliki Millousi won the silver medal in the balance beam event on
Sunday at the Artistic Gymnastics World Cup "AGF Trophy 2017" held at
the Milli Gimnastika Arenasi in Baku.
Romanian Katalina Ponor was first with 13.833 pts, Millousi collected
13.633 pts and Emily Little from Australia was third with 13,433 pts.
On Saturday, Olympic champion Lefteris Petrounias won the gold medal in
the rings event with 15.466 pts.
[02] 330 migrants and refugees arrived on the Aegean islands in the
last 48h
Migrants and refugees' flow to the northern Aegean island posted
a significant increase in the last two days. 100 persons arrived on
Lesvos and 230 on Chios while no arrivals were recorded on Samos.
According to the official figures on Sunday 8,607 migrants and refugees
that have sought for asylum in Greece and their request has been not
examined yet remain stranded on the Greek islands.
