(29/11/2003 8:45:00 μμ) [09] Anthrax scare in Marseille, FranceFrench fire fighters quarantined and decontaminated about 30 people today after an envelope containing an unidentified white powder was found in a shop in the Mediterranean port of Marseille. The white powder was sent to a local hospital to be analysed by a special unit of the fire department. The fire department was called in after the envelope was found in the late morning in a shop along one of Marseille's main shopping streets.(29/11/2003 8:46:00 μμ) [10] Turkey holds man over synagogue suicide bombingTurkish police said today they had arrested a man who ordered and helped plan one of four suicide bombings that killed dozens of people in Istanbul earlier this month.
