    Web Posted: 14:57 GMT+2
Istanbul, 11/09/1999 (MPA) The Turkish newspaper "Huriyet" suggests that the members of the Greek and Turkish rescue teams of EMAK and AKUT must be the candidates for the Nobel Peace Prize and their bid must be backed by the parliaments of the two countries.

The newspaper writes that the two rescue teams must be rewarded because of the invaluable help they offered to the earthquake victims in Greece and Turkey and also because they wrote history by laying the foundations of friendship between the two archenemies. The newspaper adds that the whole world is talking about those two rescue teams that made two enemy countries to embrace each other.

"Huriyet" also writes that the bids for a Nobel prize are being submitted each year by February 1st .
