The conference will be focusing on United States policy towords Greece and Cyprus, and the role of Greek-Americans in determining this policy. The conference will be held on Saturday, February 8th 1997 at Yale University. Keynote speakers will include: Greek Ambassador Loucas Tsilas, a Cypriot embassy official, the vice-president of AHEPA, George Savvidis, the president of the Foundation for Hellenic Culture, Peter Papas, correspondent of Kathimerini, Alexis Papahelas. Invitations have also been extended to: White House Aide George Stefanopoulos, US Senator Paul Sarbanes, Representative of the World Hellenism Council, Paul Tsongas.
