9th INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR CONFERENCE

The George Charalambous Memorial Symposium will be held from July 1-4, 1997 at the Porto Myrina Palace Resort on the island of Limnos in the northern Aegean Sea in Greece.

This conference furthers the tremendous importance of flavor chemistry in a wide variety of food and beverage products. Information presented at this conference will be useful for chemists, scientists, and technologists working in flavor chemistry, food product research and development, and food quality control.

This conference is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Charalambous, who organized and hosted this international conference at various sites in his beloved Greece. It is sponsored by the Agricultural and Food Division (AGFD) of the American Chemical Society (ACS).
