The 1998 National Union of Greek Australian Students (NUGAS) Convention
Committee invites you to attend the 29th annual NUGAS
Convention on from 3 to 12 January, 1998. The convention will be held
in Perth, Western Australia - the 4th largest city in Australia with a
population of 2 million.
NUGAS is a national body encompassing hellenic student clubs and
societies in all the states and territories within Australia. We do
have our own website on the web, still under construction, found at:

The convention will consist of a series of cultural, educational,
social, religious and recreational activities. There will be over 250
interstate and international delegates for the convention, plus the 500
The 1998 convention will not only attract delegates from around
Australia but worldwide ie delegates from South Africa, New Zealand,
Greece, Argentina, Chile, USA and hopefully the UK and others. We
intend on bringing together the Greeks from around the world to
strengthen Hellenism around the globe.
