We would like to inform you of our Union's scheduled activities for the first 6 months of 1998:

* Business Conference

A Debate discussion on the Anglo-Greek Business relationships. This discussion aims at informing the British Academia and Business world on the Business opportunities in Greece and the relationship between the two countries as member states of the European Union. The discussion will feature Politicians and Business experts from both Countries. The conference will take place in a major Business School in London in the beginning of May.

* Rock Concert

After several discussions with Greek rock groups we finally are in a position to organise a concert featuring both British and Greek groups. The event will be held in London in the end of May. The profits will be given to the Meilina Mercouri Foundation, as part of our ongoing campaign for the restitution of the Parthenon Marbles.

* Magazine

The Union is also working on the first issue of its magazine, which will be published in May. It will be an opinion magazine in English whose aim will be to offer an opportunity for both Greek and British students to put forward their opinions throughout a spectrum of issues.
