The Greek America Cultural Foundation is proud to announce GLYKERIA and
her complete orchestra in Pittsburgh for one night only on Friday, July
3, 1998 at the Pittsburgh Doubletree Hotel, downtown.
The event will include NIKOS HATZOPOULOS on the violin and Ilias Makris,
Eleni Kalaitzidou and Vasilis Fotopoulos on vocals.
As a special guest, we are proud to feature nationally-renown Greek
American comedian Basile Katsikis who is coming off a run on HBO's
comedy hour and the smash hit benefit Comic Relief. Basile will open
the show reminiscing what it's like to grow up in a typical Greek
American home-- complete with the journeys to Greece and eating yia
yia's cooking.
Proceeds to benefit the Greek America Cultural Foundation, a 501(c)(3)
non profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the Greek
culture and heritage in America. The concert is made possible by the
generous support of Greek America Magazine, Fostech USA Energy Services,
Duquesne Light Company and North American Refractories Company.
