COLLEGE YEAR IN ATHENS TO HOLD BENEFIT RECEPTION FOR ALUMNI AND FRIENDS.

College Year in Athens, a non-profit educational institution which conducts a study abroad program in Greece, will hold a benefit reception for alumni and friends on Thursday, November 19th at the new United States Courthouse in Boston from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Established in 1962 by Ismene Phylactopoulou, a graduate of Wellesley College, CYA offers university-level courses conducted in English and organized in two curricula: Ancient Greek Civilization and East Mediterranean Area Studies. CYA enrolls approximately 80-100 students per semester, but also offers summer programs open to anyone over 18 years of age. Intensive Modern Greek is one such course offered for a three-week period this summer. Alexis Phylactopoulos, Director, and George Hatsopoulos, Chairman of the Board, will share the latest news from the program. Live entertainment will be provided by The Original Grecian Keys.
