Job Description: Software Product Marketing Manager (in Paris)

Description:
This position, based in Paris, is primarily responsible for the
development of written marketing tools (in English) to support
Business Objects sales on a worldwide basis. These tools include
presentations, collateral, and demonstrations that communicate product
positioning and the key technical product features and associated
benefits. The position has secondary responsibilities that may
include sales training, pricing, packaging, naming, and preliminary
product research.
List of Duties:
- Product positioning creation
- Authoring product collateral including data sheets, brochures, and
white papers.
- Creation of product presentations
- Creation of product demonstrations
- Internal training presentations at sales training and distributor
meetings.
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years experience in software product marketing and/or
pre-sales technical support at an application development tools,
decision support tools, or relational database software vendor.
- A high energy level and a willingness to work hard.
- A technical undergraduate degree preferred. MBA preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Relocation to Paris.
