The University of Cyprus announces two (2) academic positions at the rank of Assistant Professor or Lecturer.

*DEPARTMENT OF BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES *

*One position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Lecturer *with a specialty in "Molecular and Cellular Biology" and research interest in the Biology of Cancer. Indicative research fields include cell cycle control, tumor stem cells, apoptosis, signal transduction, cell and extracellular matrix interactions, tumor markers, targeted drug discovery and cancer epigenetics.

*One position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Lecturer *with a specialty in "Molecular and Cellular Biology" and research interest in Infectious Diseases. Indicative research fields include recurrent infectious diseases, viral hepatitis, animal and human influenza, sexually transmitted diseases and research on vaccines.

For all academic ranks, an earned doctorate from a recognized University is required.
