    NEW YORK/ANKARA - Fitch, one of the leading rating organizations, affirmed on Tuesday its sovereign ratings for Turkey. Both foreign currency and local currency remain at ''B'' while the short-term rating is also confirmed at ''B''.

    ANKARA - The Treasury Undersecretariat auctioned 161-day bonds on Tuesday. The total bid had been 521.5 trillion Turkish liras (TL) while the Treasury sold 378.4 trillion TL nominal-valued 161-day bonds in the auction.
