    NEW YORK - A memorandum of understanding was signed with the United Nations regarding the Joint Hellenic Turkish Standby Disaster Response Unit-JHET-SDRU which was set up between Turkey and Greece aiming to provide urgent and influential aid to civilian people who suffered from natural disasters. The Joint Response Unit had been set up as a result of workings carried out with the support of the U.N.
