SIPOVO - The prior goal of the people in Republika Srpska (RS) must be their state, freedom and democracy, if they want to maintain the results of the fouryear struggle which claimed many lives, stated the president of the RS National Assembly Momcilo Krajsinik in Sipovo. At a gathering in Sipovo, held as a part of the Serbian Democratic Party's preelection campaign, he warned that the people must be conscious about "two traps - the elec tions and arbitrage over Brcko", adding that "those capable of maintaining RS and this city must win the elections".

MISIN HAN - The vicepresident and acting president of RS, Biljana Plavsic, stated today that "The SDS develops a system in which everyone must earn for his life though his work, which is to be reached in RS". During the SDS preelection gathering in Misin Han, near Banjaluka, she specified that "The RS is a pre requisite for the survival of the Serbian people, so our object is the creation of a national state as a guarantee of our spirit ual and physical existence."

LAKTASI - It is normal for a nation to have its national state, and we got our state following a bloody war, which state is as independent as it allows us to organise ourselves on the nation level, stated the RS foreign minister Aleksa Buha. "Now when peace has came, we must fulfil our obligations towards war orphans, families of fallen soldiers and disabled veterans. Our state must do everything to aid them", state minister Buha at a meeting in Laktasi.

SRPSKO GPRAZDE - I am categorically opposed to any delay of the upcoming elections at any level, stated Slobodan Kovac, the RS representative in the Provisional Electoral Commission, while being a guest at Serb RadioGorazde. "As the RS member of the PEC, I am interested in the implementation of the elections on every level", stated Kovac, while commenting the newest demand of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) for delay of the munici pal elections.

SARAJEVO - IFOR refused any possibility of any kind of com pensation for damage caused by the operation of destroying ammunition from the Margetici dump, claiming that "damage was

caused to neither property nor environment". "People can apply claims, but you should be aware that we are not a bank", says IFOR in its press release, and explains that the ARRC team visit ed Sokolac in order to register " possible physical damage, of which, thus far, there is no findings".

BRATUNAC - The aim of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) of RS is to maintain the RS until the right time for its unification with Serbia comes, stated the party's leader Vojislav Seselj at a meeting in Bratunac. He said that "It is very important for refugees to come and vote in RS, because if they do so there could be no way to falsify their bullets."

ZVORNIK - The president of the National Radical Party for Zvornik, Vito Tomic, warned at the recent Carl Bildt's statement that "in the next two years the RS integration into B-H will take place". "We ask Mr. Bildt to clarify his statement, given during his visit to Zvornik, for the Dayton agreement does not call for the integration of RS into some unitary Bosnia", stated Tomic at a press conference.

BANJALUKA - If it was not on the account of the Serb refu gees from the Republic of the Srpska Krajina and Republic of Croatia, without prior solution of the amnesty and property issues, and if it was not in the function of the spheres of interest, the mutual recognition of Zagreb and Belgrade would serve as an indicator of stabilisation of the situation in the Balkans, stated secretary of the Association of Serbs Expelled form the Former Yugoslav Republic of Croatia, Boris Martinovic.
