SARAJEVO - The senators of Republika Srpska /RS/ Gojko Djogo, Rajko Petrov
Nogo and Brana Crncevic deems that SFOR's occupation of transmitters of
Serbian Radio-television /SRT/ is calculated and well thought out action
which for cause could have any motive, and so the interpretation of the
statement of the main Prosecutor of the Hague Tribunal Louise Arbour. While
participating on the tribune of the Sarajevo studio of SRT, which workers
are striking, Djogo said that the practice which now apply the
international institutions represent the continuation what is not done at
the negotiations. He announced that soon will be launched the initiative of
support for the struggle for media rights in RS through petitions,
publishing of books and holding the public rallies and tribunes.
SARAJEVO - The member of the Provisional Electoral Commission /PEC/ from RS
Slobodan Kovac stated that this body tried, through modifications of the
electoral rules, to reduce significantly the manipulations of ballots of
citizens of B&H who came out on the municipal elections. "It was not
possible to eliminate the manipulations, especially in case of votes from
abroad, which we could not control entirely" - stated Kovac for Radio-
programming "Slobodno" /Freely/, which is being broadcasted by employees in
Sarajevo's studio of Serbian radio-TV /SRT/ since they are in strike.
According to him, the control of ballots from abroad is significantly
realised by issuing the final electoral lists for each municipality.
TREBINJE - The representatives of the Ministry of Internal affairs /MUP/ of
RS, the Centre of the Public Security /CJB/ Trebinje and persons who were
appointed by the split CJB Banja Luka agreed that they will in the shortest
time perform the cadre changes in the MUP of Hercegovina - is said in the
announcement of CJB Trebinje. In the announcement is stated that at
yesterday's meeting in Trebinje was agreed that until the parliamentary
elections in RS stop executions of all resolutions of split CJB in Banja
Luka, related to the MUP in Herzegovina.
ZVORNIK - The president of the Municipal Board /OO/ of the Serbian
Democratic Party /SDS/ Zvornik Stevo Radic announced that in the City
Assembly will be formed all-Serbian coalition and in that way preserve the
interests of Serbs in this city. Radic confirmed that the Serbian
electorate in the convention of the new municipal assembly in Zvornik will
have 42 out of total 70 delegate posts, SDS 20, Serbian Radical Party /SRS/
14, Socialistic Party of RS /SP RS/ 6 and National Radical Party Zvornik 2.
SRBAC - The representatives of the coalition block "Democratic Srbac" and
Coalition for democratic changes signed the agreement about cooperation, by
which were regulated the future relations in the work of delegate's clubs
of the Municipal Assembly Srbac. The coalition Block "Democratic Srbac",
comprised of the Party of Independent Social-Democrats and SP RS has 30
delegates in the city Assembly.
ZVORNIK - The inaugural assembly of the Serbian peoples union /SNS/ of the
municipality Zvornik, which had to be held at 10,00 o'clock, is postponed
until the further notice - learns SRNA in CJB Zvornik. The initiative board
of SNS Zvornik informed CJB that the inaugural session was delayed because
of the security reasons, because, according to their information, the
incidents could have occurred.
