BEOGRAD - The Serbian Radical Party (SRS) sharply condemned "brutal attacks,
blackmails and threats by the USA and its satellites against Republika
Srpska (RS) and the Serbian people W of the Drina", and assessed that "the
use of force during the takeover of the Serb TV transmitters reflects an
open occupation of RS."
BANJALUKA - The Socialist Party of RS (SP for RS) would go independently to
the up-coming parliamentarian elections scheduled for November 23, and
first candidate on the SP for RS list of candidates is Party's president
Zivko Radisic, announced the SP for RS Main Board session in Banjaluka. The
SP for RS Main Board authorised Party's president and Executive Board to
agree some aspects of pre-election cooperation and possible coalition with
other parties of similar programme.
BANJALUKA - The Main Board of the Serbian National Alliance of RS decided
at its session in Banjaluka to take part at the parliamentarian elections
in RS under name "SNSRS - Biljana Plavsic". Party's Main Board adopted
Draft Protocol on interparties relations and sent it for adoption to the
Coordination Committee of parties supporting Biljana Plavsic in her
decision to disband the RS National Assembly and other decisions taken
during the constitutional crisis in RS.
PODGORICA - In the second round of the presidential elections in Monte
Negro, presidential candidate Momir Bulatovic won in Arijevci with 3,384
votes, while his rival, current prime minister of Monte Negro, Milo
Djukanovic got 548 votes, learns SRNA from unofficial sources. According to
first returns, Bulatovic is also leading in Budva with 162 votes.
PRISTINA - On Prevara hill, near Podujevo, the 85th anniversary of the
first battle in WWI, waged for the liberation of the Kossovo - the Old
Serbia - was marked today.
