BANJA LUKA - The president of RS Biljana Plavsic talked in Banja Luka with the special envoy of the UN Secretary General Kai Eide and deputy commander of SFOR general Kordy Simpson about the financial assistance for RS and the situation with media. "We are trying to find the financial support for RS, and I shall have because of that to visit some Western countries, and it is very important for me to hear the opinion of president Plavsic" - said after the talks Kai Eide. The general Simpson informed the journalists that with president Plavsic he talked about, as he said, "the sabotage of transmitters at Veliki Zep" and expressed the regret because the public in Eastern and Southern part of RS are not able to watch the programming of Banja Luka radio-TV studio". The president of RS talked also with the Slovenian Ambassador in RS and FB&H Drago Mirosic about establishing economic relations between Slovenia and RS.

SARAJEVO - The presiding of the Presidency of Serbian Democratic Party /SDS/ Aleksa Buha confirmed in Pale the decision of the Main Board /GO/ of SDS that this party will participate at the coming parliamentary and presidential elections in Republika Srpska /RS/. At the press conference he assessed that without holding the presidential elections there will not stop the existence of two parallel authorities in RS, and stressed that "in OSCE rules for parliamentary elections on December 7 is not mentioned as the date of holding the elections for president of Republics and president in Presidency of B&H from RS".

VIENNA - The preparatory meeting of International conference on implementation of Arbitrage for city of Brcko started at 14,00 h in Vienna, and the arbiters from RS and Federation B&H Vitomir Popovic and Cazim Sadikovic, and U.S. arbiter and president of Arbitrage tribunal Roberts Oven. As announced, the main part of the Conference will start at 14,00 h in Vienna and will last until 18,00 h. At the question of SRNA correspondent from Vienna what he expects from this conference, Popovic said that Serbian side respected and fulfilled all its obligations and that they are in accordance with the decision of Arbitrage decision and that there is no reason that in Vienna will come to any changes.

BIJELJINA - The transmitter of the Serbian radio-TV in Bijeljina, which worked on the 43th channel UHF, is destroyed this morning at 2,15 h - reported the Serbian radio Bijeljina, precisely stating that it was a saboteur-terroristic action performed by the explosive device with the watch mechanism. The transmitter from which was broadcasted the local programming was placed on the skyscraper in the centre of the city.

SARAJEVO - The minister for refugees and displaced persons in RS Government Slobodan Ecimovic talked in Pale with the director of the Humanitarian office EU -ECHO G.A. Navaro about the humanitarian situation in Srpska and relation of the international humanitarian organisations towards needs of refugees and displaced persons in RS and Federation B&H.

HAMBURG - In RS and Federation B&H /FB&H/ exist only one absolute center of power - concentrated in the representatives of international organisations, who at the military and civilian level keep all strings in their hands and pave the path towards the protectorate - concludes the "Siddeutche Zeitung". This German news stated that the international representatives are aware that B&H, after signing Dayton Agreement, as the whole state, "exist only in relation on its outer contours, and that vacuum in such creature must be filled by so called peaceful protectorate".

PODGORICA - According to unofficial data of the Republican electoral commission /PEC/, which were announced on the basis of 93 % processed material, in second round of presidential elections in Montenegro won Milo Djukanovic with 165,330 of votes, while his counter candidate Momir Bulatovic won 165,624 votes. The deputy president of PEC Miras Radovic announced at the press conference that in second round of the presidential elections voted 327,188 citizens out of 470,675 enfranchised, and that the 323,954 ballots were valid.

AMSTERDAM - The election of Milo Djukanovic for president of Montenegro could mean not only limiting powers of the president of FR Yugoslavia /FRY/ Slobodan Milosevic but its end and separation of Montenegro from Serbia, assess the Dutch political commentators.

BRATUNAC - The World Food Programme in RS approved the humanitarian aid for 4,700 persons in the municipality Bratunac for next two or three months.

BANJA LUKA - In the centre of military schools "Rajko Balac" in Banja Luka started with lectures the first class of reserve officers of RS Army. The commander of this school the colonel Radomir Cavic stressed that "the military and skilled training of cadets of the Centre has the goal the acquainting common military and special knowledge necessary for successful performing the combat and other military tasks".

BRCKO - The identity cards of RS in Brcko received 51 Moslem returnee in the edge settlement Brod - is confirmed for SRNA in the Police station in Brcko.

BRCKO - The socialistic party of Republika Srpska /SPRS/ is not a signatory of the letter which was sent few days ago to the supervisor Robert Farrand as the response on his orders and changing the Statute of the Municipal Assembly Brcko - confirmed the president of the Municipal Board of SPRS Brcko Petar Djokic.

PRIJEDOR - The partnership with other parties is necessary to secure in those municipalities where the power of political parties from RS is endangered - stressed at the press conference of Prijedor socialists Gordan Dulic, the member of the Main Board of SP RS.

BANJA LUKA - The president of National Radical Party /NRS/ of RS "Nikola Pasic" Dubravko Prstojevic stated at the press conference that this party will come out on the next parliamentary elections in the Coalition with another for smaller parties.

BANJA LUKA - The Serbian Party of Krajina and Posavina will not participate in the executive city government of Banja Luka if the candidate of SPRS would be chosen for the mayor and if the city government were sitting the representatives of Croatian Democratic Party /HDZ/ and Party of Democratic Action /SDA/.

ATHENS - The results of the local elections in RS and Federation B&H, at which won the national parties, made official the existing division of B&H leaving the international community in concern and ambiguity how to solve this unfavourable situation - concludes the Greek weekly "Elephterotipia". By the peaceful agreement B&H was officially divided into two parts, while unofficially there exist three parts, although we could talk even about four parts if we take into consideration the political crisis in RS which is threatening to divide it into Eastern and Western part - Pale and Banja Luka part" - claims the news.

BELGRADE - The president of the city Board of Serbian Democratic party /SRS/ Stevo Dragisic condemned the killing of the fourteen years old boy Dusan Jovanovic, killed by the members of ultra-right group "skinheads" because he is the member of the Gypsy minority.

DOBOJ - The priests of the Greek Orthodox church from the Diocese of the metropolitan in Neapolis have brought to Doboj 30 tones of the humanitarian aid for children of killed soldiers from the region of this municipality.

BANJA LUKA - The foundation "Petar Kocic" Banja Luka Belgrade will represent itself with 11 new publications on the traditional 42. international fair of books, which will be held in Belgrade from October 21 until 27.
