voting ballots sent on the home addresses of voters worldwide arrived 80,
000, 50,000 being valid - stated for SRNA the representative of government
of Republika Srpska /RS/ in this centre Gordan Milinic. According to
Milinic 10,000 of arrived ballots have no any attached documentation or
certificates from local elections, and with copies of documents, even
without names and addresses written on simple papers, why they were
declared as invalid and will stay in Vienna.
BANJA LUKA - The president of Republika Srpska /RS/ Biljana Plavsic
assessed in Banjaluka that the first visit of British prime minister Tony
Blair has been very important, though very short. After the meeting with Mr.
Blair at the airport "Mahovljani" in Banjaluka, Ms. Plavsic thanked British
premier for help which SFOR British troops , as well as many government and
nongovernment organisations, provided for RS." During meetings some future
moves considering political and material view were mentioned "- the
president Plavsic told without precisely telling whom it was about.
BRCKO - According to the decision of RS Government, Centre for supplemental
registering of citizens for participation in privatisation will be opened
in Brcko from 1 until 18 December - said for SRNA the secretary of the
Secretariat for Economy and Finance in municipal assembly /OO/ of Brcko
Sinisa Kisic.
BANJA LUKA - Djordje Mikic, the president of municipal board of Serbian
Democratic Party /SDS/ of Banja Luka announced today the possibility of
coalition with radicals and RS Socialistic Party in future republican
parliament, adding that "there are signs that these parties are ready for
cooperation".
BIJELJINA - RS Democratic Party thinks that last parliamentary elections
are significant step for already initiated democratic changes in republika -
this has been announced at the press conference of this party in Bijeljina.
SARAJEVO - Did NATO, during bombing of RS, used radioactive missiles and
was the Army of Federation of B&H /FB&H/, in the framework of programme
"Equip and train", supplied with antitank ammunition which contained weaken
Uranium 238, as it was claimed by NIN reporter Zoran Petrovic Pirocanac in
its issue of November 20. It would be worth saying that NIN is the only
news in former Yugoslavia which has undertaken the serious research of this
issue during last two years, after Dayton and considering the indicatively
deep silence of Western press, efforts of this respectable Belgrade's
weekly, still sound like a voice in the desert - is stated in SRNA review.
