[02] Russian envoy - Cyprus - Visit
Nicosia, Jun 12 (CNA) - Russian Special Representative for Cyprus, Vladimir
Brigin, arrives here later today in view of the third round of UN-led
proximity talks, scheduled to begin July 5 in Geneva.
Brigin will be received by President Glafcos Clerides tomorrow and will
also meet with Turkish Cypriot leader, Rauf Denktash.

[04] Cyprus - Telemedicine - Health minister
Nicosia, Jun 12 (CNA) -- The first telemedicine system in Cyprus was
presented here Monday during a press conference in the presence of renowned
Egyptian heart surgeon, Magdi Yacub.
The telemedicine system which was installed by the Cyprus Telecommunications
Authority at the Makarios Hospital in the capital Nicosia, was donated to
the Ministry of Health by Aspis Pronia insurance company. It is expected to
contribute towards upgrading medical services offered throughout the
island.
