[01] Papandreou visits ailing Archbishop Christodoulos
Main opposition PASOK party leader George Papandreou visited with
ailing Archbishop Christodoulos of Athens and All Greece at the
latter's residence on Wednesday. Archbishop Christodoulos praised the
PASOK leader for the perseverance he displayed during a tough party
leadership election campaign <font size="3" face="Times New
Roman">earlier this<font size="3" face="Times New Roman Greek"> month.
On his part, Papandreou characterised the election proce<font size="3"
face="Times New Roman">ss followed by PASOK as "unprecedented",
accepting the Archbishop's congratulations for his re-election to the
