ANA-MPA -- Main opposition Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA) leader Alexis
Tsipras, in a statement made in the grounds of the ERT broadcaster on
Tuesday evening, described the government's decision to close ERT as a
"coup d'etat".
Tsipras called on the presidents of PASOK and DIM.AR parties, Evangelos
Venizelos and Fotis Kouvelis respectively, to clarify their position on
the issue, otherwise, he said, they will bear full responsibility.
Tsipras also asked the prime minister - "who thinks that he can decide and
decree" - to revoke his decision and have the issue brought to Parliament.
