[01] Exit poll results are not a sound basis for estimates, ND says
ANA/MPA---"The exit poll results are not a sound basis for estimates,"
New Democracy (ND) sources on Friday said and underlined the high
abstention rate in the national elections.
They also noted that it is a neck to neck fight and stressed that New
Democracy remains the basic guarantor of Greece's smooth course
[02] Potami takes a wait-and-see stance
ANA/MPA---Potami party is taking a wait-and-see stance for the official
results of the Interior ministry stressing, however, the need for
cooperation of all the parties that supported the European course of
the country.
"We are not going to be SYRIZA's 'crutch'. Our stance will depend on the
positions of the first party that will be called to form a government. We
will see, we will judge and if need be we will give a vote of tolerance,"
they stressed.
[03] Six-year old girl found dead; seven children still missing
ANA/MPA---The body of a six-year old girl that was among the 8 missing
children that were on a dinghy that sank off the coasts of Lesvos island
was located on Sunday afternoon.
The body of a 40-year old woman was also found in the sea region off
Lesvos island.
Two women were rescued earlier and the number of those rescued reached 24.
According to testimonies, the number of Syrians that were on the dinghy
was 46.
