SARAJEVO - The President in the B-H Presidency from Republika Srpska (RS), Momcilo Krajisnik, warned that misinformation coming from certain international circles aimed additional complication of the situation, underlining that SFOR and IPTF action in Banjaluka represented the most blatant violation of the Dayton agreement thus far. "Information by certain circles, even by some international agencies spokespersons, that I called on SFOR to use force in the Banjaluka Public Security Centre (CJB), is fake", Krajisnik stated in Pale and added: "It is obvious to whom SFOR and IPTF helped to forcibly seize the CJB, in violation of RS Constitution and Law."

SARAJEVO - The president in the B-H Presidency from RS, Momcilo Krajisnik received in Pale Swedish ambassador to B-H, Niels Elianson, who announced soon visit of the Swedish king to B-H. "I expressed my gratitude to Sweden for everything its diplomacy has done as a part of peace efforts and implementation of the Dayton agreement, and we will join the meeting with the Swedish king in Tuzla, if technical circumstances allow it", stated Krajisnik.

BIJELJINA - The expanded Board of Staff of the RS Army (VRS) General Staff, assessed, at its session late last night, that the political-security situation in RS is extremely serious and is a direct consequence of the unconstitutional decisions of RS president Biljana Plavsic. The VRS General Staff Board of Staff, warned that by breaking-up the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) conditions have been created for further division of RS, and concluded that the RS president completely isolated the VRS General Staff and established contacts with unauthorised individuals and institutions and international agencies.

BIJELJINA - The VRS General Staff warns that at stake is the most dangerous attack on integrity and constitutionality of RS, and that the VRS would not passively watch demise of Republika Srpska and ruining of results of four- year struggle of the Serbian people verified under the Dayton agreement. "With a grave concern and displeasure the VRS units and their commands, VRS General Staff members and I, personally, follow the SFOR's role played in the current events in RS, provoked by the political crisis", says the letter of the VRS General Staff general Pero Colic to SFOR general Cordi Simpson, and adds: "We do believe that latest SFOR actions in Banjaluka, its role in seizing police stations, intrusion into the MUP school, as well as demonstration of power in Pale, Doboj and other RS cities go beyond the mandate given to you and represent a dangerous precedent, interference in political disputes and sides-taking."

BRCKO - A group of hundred civilians stopped 120 Muslims armed with axes, sickles and pitchfork in the bordering community of Brod, near Brcko, and a possible incident with irredeemable consequences was prevented by an urgent SFOR and IPTF and Serb police. Divided in two groups, the Muslims encircled the Serb community, settled by 64 Serb refugees families with 52 children, with an explanation that they had permission from the supervisor for "cleansing of 92 houses beyond the SFOR-controlled zone of separation around the city of Brcko."

BRCKO - A group of 120 Muslims, armed with axes, sickles gave up, following four hours of persuasion, from entering the bordering Serb village of Brod, near Brcko, which prevented by serb civilians.

SARAJEVO - The deputy high representative for B-H and NATO commander issued a press release expressing their displeasure because "RS leaders allowed the security situation in RS, especially in the Banjaluka area, deteriorate". "In their letters sent to RS president Biljana Plavsic, president from RS in the B- H Presidency Momcilo Krajisnik and RS prime minister Gojko Klickovic, we warned that the action such as seizing the Public Security Centre by a faction of the RS specialistic police and import of a large amounts of arms to the area represent willingness of both sides to resolve the political dispute by undemocratic means", says the joint OHR and SFOR press release.

SARAJEVO - At the up-coming local elections in RS about 60 political parties and independent candidates would take place in 61 municipalities, for which over a million voters should cast their votes, announced the president of the RS Electoral Commission, Petko Cancar. He is hopeful that final voters lists for RS and voters lists from abroad should be provided soon to help finally determine the constituency and prevent possible manipulations.

BEOGRAD - The president of the Serbian Democratic Party (SDS) for Serbia, Dragoljub Stojicic, stated that "the international community intends to repeat the scenario of liquidation of the Republic of the Srpska Krajina."

PRNJAVOR - By its decisions and actions RS president betrayed RS, its soldiers, disabled war veterans and families of fallen soldiers, says an announcement issued by the Executive Board of the Veterans Organisation in Prnjavor.
